Age Face — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Age Face ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
In short: Age Face works without an account — you can use it completely anonymously. The photos you choose are sent to third-party AI providers to estimate age and related attributes, then results are returned to your device. Your photo is deleted after analysis (some providers may retain it for up to 30 days under their own policies). We do not sell your data and we do not use your photos to train our own models.
1. Information We Process
- Photos you submit. When you take a selfie or pick a photo, the image is transmitted to third-party AI providers (see Section 3) for the sole purpose of producing an age/attribute estimate. The image may be briefly held in temporary storage to deliver it to providers that require an image URL, and is removed after processing.
- Analysis results. Age, gender and related estimates returned by the providers. Your analysis history is stored locally on your device so you can review past results.
- Purchase & usage data. Subscription/credit status and credit usage. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google — we never receive your payment card details.
- Basic technical/diagnostic data. Anonymous error and performance logs to keep the App working.
2. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number to use the core features.
- We do not use your photos to train our own models.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
- We do not perform identity verification, surveillance, or facial recognition to identify who you are.
3. Third-Party AI Providers
To produce a panel of estimates, photos are sent to AI providers operating in multiple countries, which may include the United States, Canada, France, Lithuania, Turkey, India, Singapore, China, Russia and Armenia. By using the App you consent to this international transfer and processing. Each provider processes the image under its own privacy and data-retention policies. We select providers that offer an analysis/inference service, but we do not control their internal practices.
One provider (DeepFace) runs on our own server and is not operated by a third party.
4. Children's Privacy
Age Face is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will assist.
5. Data Retention
Analysis history and settings live on your device and are deleted when you delete the App. Photos sent for analysis are deleted after processing — we do not keep them beyond the short-lived temporary copy needed to deliver them to a provider. Some third-party AI providers may retain an uploaded image for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) for abuse-monitoring or operational purposes, under their own data-retention policies, after which it is deleted on their side.
6. Your Choices & Rights
- You control which photos are submitted — nothing is analyzed until you choose an image and tap analyze.
- You can clear your local history within the App at any time.
- Depending on your region (e.g. EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Contact us to make a request.
7. Security
Images are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
